We want to congratulate the Adult Education 2024 Practical Nurse graduates! They gathered on June 13, 2024 at the Bush Campus with their peers, families and instructors to celebrate this amazing achievement. This group of students successfully completed the NYS 1,200 hour program and are ready to join the nursing field. They spent countless hours preparing in the classroom, lab, and various clinical sites to complete their hours. In addition to the 1,200 program hours, these students dedicated additional time to studying and test preparation, while also juggling work, families and home lives. Their dedication, perseverance and unwavering commitment to the field of nursing has led them here today. We could not be more proud of this amazing group of future nurses. To quote Florence Nightingale, "Nursing is a progressive art such that to stand still is to go backwards". We now send these nurses out into the world to move forward and forge their paths in the field.
