GST BOCES FFA Chapters from Bush and Coopers traveled together to the 99th NYS FFA Convention on May 2-4 in Buffalo, NY. We had four Vet Science teams and two Forestry teams combined from the two Chapters.
There were 17 teams from across the Chapters in the forestry competition. Each team had up to 4 members. Our forestry teams were successful in capturing the NYS Forestry team championship and 4 of the top 10 individual rankings. Our first place team will be representing NYS at the National FFA Convention and Expo held in October in Indianapolis, Indiana.
